Immunization Experience.

                                   

So I came across this picture on Facebook and I smiled  #memories#.
A nurse once told me that children don't feel pain only discomfort and the mothers are the ones who make them panic. Do you agree?

My first immunization experience with my son was indeed memorable.
It was his 6wks, he cried a bit after the injection and I was like Yipee!!! The phase is over. However the celebration didn't last long because few hours after we got home, he started crying so much that he was also running temperature and lifting a leg. Hehehehe at that point I was officially confused. I had to consciously calm myself so I don't panic.

After administering paracetamol for babies, dabbing his leg with a wet towel, singing, moving around trying to soothe him. He slept off on my chest and that was his sleeping position till the next day. 
Mother's love is indeed unconditional.

    I think, I did not have any problem with my Son. I prepared myself before going to the hospital by giving him Tylenol an hour before then.
    Thanks to my Eldest Sister.

The Result of the Pregnancy Test is Positive!!!!! OMG..

                                                  What was your first reaction when you saw your pregnancy test result?? Excitement, Panic, Fear, Joy........the list goes on. For me I was ecstatic, excited and a bit afraid ( The fear of the unknown). It was a month plus after my wedding back to work  and wasn't trying hard at all to conceive. The honeymoon phase was still on nah *winks* . It will come in God's time I sincerely believed. On a beautiful Saturday morning after a hetic week at work I woke up at 11:30am....What!!! I overslept and you didn't wake me I told my hubby and he smiled and said"you needed  it baby, you were tired". The weekend passed and a new week began. I went to work as usual but was still feeling a bit tired hmmmmmh! after how many hours of sleep. My mind by now has started calculating.( Where is the calendar?). After a while hubby called and suggested we buy a pregnancy test kit.......... Ghen! Ghen! The rest they say is history.

The Best Drink for Kids!!!!!

                       In recent times when drinks like caprisome, bobo, ribena and the likes  Have gradually taken over the place of water. It is our duty as parents to teach our kids the importance of water  Let's give our kids water to drink. YES!!!!!! Plain water #grins# The importance of water cannot be over emphasized. Some of the importance of drinking water includes; - Drinking water prevents dehydration. - Drinking water flushes out unwanted toxins. - Drinking water helps with good blood circulation - Drinking water helps with school performance.  To mention just a few. Other drinks are nice but it shouldn't replace water!!! The best drink for kids is Water!!! Let's drink more water!!! The best drink remains Water!!!!
