* Getting It Back Together*

Hello beautiful people!!!!!
Welcome to a great week.

Today we shall be looking at how to get back into shape after baby.
Yes!!! We have to get it back together..*winks*

Getting back into shape shouldn't be about the pressure to lose weight.
 It should be about returning to your body and your soul.
Getting back to a strong, healthy and energetic place.

It took you nine months to put the weight on.
Give yourself at least nine months to get it off.
Be patient with yourself and your body.

Some of the things to consider are;

1. Genetics; your genes have a lot to play in this.
Different people, Different genes.
Don't compare yourself rather understand your gene then find out the best way to go about it.

2. Start Early; After your post natal check usually after six weeks, you can gradually begin a light routine. Walking is a wonderful exercise and you can also begin other forms of exercise put please do check in with your doctor before starting.

3. Eat healthy; Lots of fruits and vegetables. Drink a lot of water too.
A healthy diet will go a long way to achieve desired result.

Getting back into shape after a baby is quite a struggle for most women but with consistency and determination you can achieve it .
100% the same i don't guarantee but you will be happy, feeling good and looking HOT!!!!!

How did you get back into shape????

  1. Wooow!love dis topic because am actually getting back 2 shape after birth....although I didn't start early because I tot it will affect my breastfeeding but I realised it doesn't really affect it as long as you are not over doing it....trying 2 be like agbani immediately*wink*...for me, I believe it's just eating right and working out...d working out should be gradual...you start wit simple ones and graduate into difficult ones depending on how your body feels....you can eat as much as 5 times a day, you just have 2 watch d quantity and d calorie intake....eat lots of veggies and fruits along side other healthy food...its also good for baby...Commitment and determination is also important in getting back 2 shape...nobody can really help you loose weight...you have to push yourself by yourself *wink*.

    1. Postpartum body for me has been the most difficult task I've had to tackle aside being a mom. I lost weight during and after childbirth. I wanted to get back to my old self but I guess i over did it.I added so much that I tripled My former size. I ate everything u cld think off. Now I'm struggling to get back. I wish i can say It doesn't bother me. I registered in a gym house at some point but it made me eat more. Each time I finish my Work out session I come home shaking. It made me eat for three. However I stopped n I do just Russian twist like 50times at home before eating n I eat very little now. Plus the stage my daughter is now, trying to walk,I am constantly busy chasing after her. I could say I've reduced drastically but not where I wanna be yet.

  3. As for me, I am too lazy exercising my body so I focus more on food, fruits and plenty of water. For example, I have my breakfast between 7:00am to 7:30am ( light food), lunch/Dinner between 12:00pm-12:30pm ( heavy food and snacks or any fruits in between) and supper between 6:00pm- 6:30pm ( light food). And if I am still hungry after eating, I prefer to eat carrot incase I don't want to drink plenty of water at night. This is really working for me and I am enjoying it. And I forgot to say, I eat more of protein than carbohydrates.
