The Result of the Pregnancy Test is Positive!!!!! OMG..
What was your first reaction when you saw your pregnancy test result?? Excitement, Panic, Fear, Joy........the list goes on.
For me I was ecstatic, excited and a bit afraid ( The fear of the unknown). It was a month plus after my wedding back to work and wasn't trying hard at all to conceive. The honeymoon phase was still on nah *winks* . It will come in God's time I sincerely believed.
On a beautiful Saturday morning after a hetic week at work I woke up at 11:30am....What!!! I overslept and you didn't wake me I told my hubby and he smiled and said"you needed it baby, you were tired". The weekend passed and a new week began.
I went to work as usual but was still feeling a bit tired hmmmmmh! after how many hours of sleep. My mind by now has started calculating.( Where is the calendar?). After a while hubby called and suggested we buy a pregnancy test kit.......... Ghen! Ghen!
The rest they say is history.

ReplyDeleteThe body has a way of tricking you. It's like it reads your mind and makes you believe what you want. After about 2 months of marriage, I was so sure I was pregnant since my body was doing the things pregnant bodies do according to "the gospel of Google"
ReplyDeleteAfter 3 "you are not pregnant" pregnancy strips I went to the hospital just in case to hear the "you are not pregnant" from the doctor.
Anyways, about 3 weeks later, I felt pregnant like again and I decided to use the last pregnancy strip left. OMG it was positive. I was so excited.

DeleteI found out I was pregnant just few weeks after my wedding....I was feeling funny or maybe it was my mind playing tricks sha coz all I was thinking about was getting pregnant #wink#...so on a Saturday morning, I went into d bathroom 2 do d test without tellin my hubby just incase*smile*....I was so excited when it came out positive... jumped on my hubby on d bed..went 2 do a blood test dat same day...It was a happy day indeed.

ReplyDeleteWell my wife didnt let me know till eve, she wanted to surprise me. So I came back from work and she said she had something to tell me, my heart flew into my stomach and then she said that she was pregnant. I couldnt hold my joy after doctors said she will not be able to get pregnant. Our God did it for us. that was just after our wedding. We rushed own the the hospital to get everything straight and we confirmed she was preg. Now we have a wonderful baby boy. Healthy like a fish in water.

DeleteFive days after the wedding was my birthday,I was down,too down to celebrate. He was disappointed.he wanted us to hang out like newly weds,I just cldnt. He said it was the wedding stress. Since it was on a wknd we couldn't get to any lab. We both felt it was malaria. On Monday we went,did widal test.we were to come back later for the results in the evenning . While he was looking for a place to park I went in for the results n the lab scientists or whatever they r called said ''madam why u day find malaria where malaria no dey, na belle dey do u'' I wasn't sure if I was happy or not. It didn't sound true.we had just started enjoying what married people enjoy n all that will be on hold so I thought. I n hubby met halfway out n he asked for the result I told him they said I had slight malaria that I should just rest n all will be fine. On our way home I asked him to pull over at a pharmacy so I cold buy procold. Inside the procold was three preg test kits.I wanted to be 3ple sure. Since he had to resume work d next day,by the time I was fully aware that I've been put in a family way,I did a four hrs journey to tell him. He had just came in from work I said babes we are expecting n casually He said expecting gini?I said a baby..... U can't imagine what he did*smiles* going down memory lane I feel like I'm ready for second missionary journey. the feeling is out of this world.

My first pregnancy was super exciting.... Didn't know I was pregnant already till I had my first morning sickness. After d whole vomiting then my hubby asked me if I ve seen my period for that month, that was when I realized I was late. I said no oo, then without saying another word to me, went downstairs to a pharmacy nearby and got me a pregnancy test tube. Came up and handed it over to me with enough smiles. As I was running d test, I was praying that it's positive so as not to kill d joy he was already feeling. Lo and behold, it came out positive. I called for him from the bathroom and he came with a run and I showed him, he was very happy. That was how he took over the house chores from me extensively....... I was even supposed to accompany my sister to the market that day but when she called to know if I was ready, my hubby said no no no, that I won't be going with her again #lol........ That day was full of happiness and love.
